Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the pair came face-to-face to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
